Cultural Club’ Activity “Cultural Holi Haat - 2024” on the theme “Innovative Eco-friendly Approach”

Student members of Vibgyor–The Cultural Club organized “Cultural Holi Haat - 2024” on the theme “Innovative Eco-friendly Approach” for PG Management students on March 16, 2024.

 

The Event was inaugurated with the worship of Maa Saraswati by Dr. Timira Shukla – Director I.T.S School of Management, Dr. Anusha Agarwal- PGP Chairperson, & Prof. Durba Roy.

In the Event following competitions were organized;

1.       Cultural Stall with the theme “Innovative Eco Friendly Approach” (Main Competition)

2.       Cultural Solo Dance (Ms. Vanshika Prakash was the winner)

3.       Cultural Solo Singing (Mr. Shantanu was the winner)

4.       Standup Comedy. (Mr. Shaswat Sharma was the winner)

The Best Stall competition was Judged By Dr. Shailesh Kr. Dubey & Dr.Neeraj Sanghi, and winner of this competition was first prize stall no.-4 including the members Prateek chaudhary, Akash Sharma, Ritik singh, Kirti Chaudhary, Gunee tyagi. Whereas first runner-up was stall no.-7 including the members Aman Kumar Lath, Saurabh Fuloria, Khushboo, Akshansh & Shantanu. And the Second Runner-up was stall No.-1 including the members Shivam, Aman Goel, Sonali Kumari, Vanshika & Naincy.

Solo Dance, Solo Singing and Standup Comedy events were judged by Dr. Richa Narayan Agarwal & Prof. Yachna Malhotra.

Management students participated in Spandan-2024 Fest

PGDM students (2023-25) Batch of I.T.S School of Management, Ghaziabad namely Sanskar Jaiswal, Nidhi Kumari Mishra, Khushi Kashyap, Arushi, Shiv Shankar Patel and  Annu Yadav participated in Squid Game Competition  & Bulls & Bear Competition in Spandan-2024 Fest,  NDIM New Delhi on March 14 – 16, 2024 respectably.

 

 

There were many participants from various colleges of Delhi University and institutes of Delhi NCR, among them PGDM Students performed very well and got awarded with participation certificates. It was a great learning experience for the students.

Workshop on Selling Skills and its Significance for BBA and BCA students

I.T.S School of Management, Ghaziabad organized a workshop on “Selling Skills and its Significance” in professional life for the final year students of BBA and BCA courses on Friday, March 15, 2024.

The resource person Dr. Timira Shukla, Professor and Director introduced the concept and elucidated the role and scope of professional selling in contemporary world. She used exercises and games to articulate the concept of SPIN selling.

Prof. Shukla further elaborated the significance of listening to the customer. Role plays was used as a method to demonstrate the role of probing the customer’s mind and mapping.

The different skills explained included listening skills, interpersonal skills, problem solving skills, presentation & persuasion skills, negotiation skills and customer service skills. The do’s and don’ts which can kill a sale were highlighted by using real life examples.

Guest lecture on the topic of "Data-Driven Decision-Making in Business"

I.T.S School of Management organized a session on the topic “Data-Driven Decision Making in Business” for the PGDM (2023-25) batch on March 14, 2024

 

The resource speaker was Mr.Abhishek Banerjee, Project Manager, at Tata Stive. Chairperson, Dr.Anusha Aggarwal welcomed the speaker.

Mr. Banerjee introduced various courses offered by Google and highlighted their potential to enhance students' life skills, employability, and competitiveness in the job market. He discussed courses such as Google IT Support, Google UX Design Professional, Google Data Analytics, Digital Marketing, Business Intelligence, and more.

Mr. Banerjee's enthusiasm was appreciable as he elucidated how these carefully crafted courses empower students to navigate the complexities of data-driven decision-making.

In an age where information holds immense power, the ability to extract meaningful insights from data is invaluable. Mr. Banerjee elaborated on how these courses equip students to make data-driven decisions and thrive in the modern corporate environment. Completion of these courses awards valuable certificates, enriching students' CVs and LinkedIn profiles, thereby providing substantial advantages for their careers.

As the session drew to a close, Mr. Banerjee provided profound insights into various types of certificates used in the industry for rapid data analysis and decision-making. He encouraged students to pose intriguing questions, which he answered comprehensively, fostering a highly interactive atmosphere.

At last Professor Sunil Upadhyay presented a memento as a token of gratitude.

participated and presented their research paper on the title “A STUDY TO MEASURE THE IMPACT OF SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS FOR MARKETING” during 3rd International Conference on “Digital Transformation towards Sustainable Development in Future”, Vision: Viksit Bharat@2047 Organised by Research Affairs Committee, organized by Research Committee Rajdhani College, University of Delhi on March 8th - 9th, 2024.

The Conference was organized on Zoom Platform where around 90 selected papers were presented by Researchers & Scholars from more than 15 countries.

Management students attended the Festival of Manufacturing

Ankita Bhardwaj,  AniketAnand,  Ashutosh Gupta,  Aman Kumar Lath, Students of PGDM  program 2023-25 Batch, I.T.S School of Management, Ghaziabad attended the event on the Festival of Manufacturing on March 7, 2024 at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi.

The Festival of Manufacturing organized by The Times Group, marked a significant milestone in the journey of India's manufacturing sector. The purpose of the event was to celebrate  achievements of Indian manufacturing, particularly highlighting the progress made in the last decade under initiatives like 'Make in India' and 'Make for India' launched by Hon' Prime Minister of India.

Shri RK Singh, Union Minister, Ministry of Power and New & Renewable Energy, Government of India was the Chief Guest of the day and followed by Guest of Honour and other dignitaries of the day Mr. Atul Dinkar Rane, OS & Director General, Brah Mos, DRDO and CEO & MD, BrahMos Aerospace shared their views through panel discussion on different issues likeRevolutionizing the Automotive Landscape, Celebrating 10 Years of Make in India, Conglomerates and MSMEs Showcase etc.

Overall, the event was a resounding success, setting the stage for continued momentum and progress in India's manufacturing landscape.

Corporate Talk on “My Dream My Job” for PGDM Students

I.T.S School of Management, Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad organized a corporate talk session on the topic “My Dream My Job” on March 7, 2024for the students of PGDM (2023_25) Batch.

The distinguished resource person was Ms. Deepali Jain – Certified Sales and Purpose Coach.

The inaugural session commenced with honoring the guest Ms. Deepali Jain with the plant sapling by the Director Dr. Timira Shukla. Ms. Deepali Jain started the session by asking the students about their dreams and understanding their career aspirations. The objective of the session was to sensitize students for summer internship and how to convert their internship into final placement opportunities.

After that Ms. Deepali conducted some fun activities for students to make them realize their hidden potential and advised them to be optimistic to use every opportunity to make themselves grow in their personal and professional life.

She explained students about importance of “Skill set/ Passion / Career / Money in the start of their corporate lives and what can be the long-term perspectives to keep in view and mind. The event was well–received by the students and others. They found it to be informative and insightful. The session helped them to understand the different aspects of corporate career and the opportunities that are available in the industry.

In the end, Prof. Yachna Malhotra presented the memento to Ms. Deepali Jain as a token of gratitude extended a vote of thanks. The session was highly interactive and participants appreciated the insights delivered by the speaker.

HR club activity “Performance Panorama: Painting Success with Skills” for PGDM students

OPPO MAKERS - The HR Club of I.T.S School of Management organized activity  “Performance Panorama: Painting Success with Skills” for  PGDM (2023-25) batch students on March 7, 2024. An unfolded as a dynamic platform aimed at assessing and enhancing participants' skills across critical domains such as time management, teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, and effective communication witnessed enthusiastic participation from teams eager to showcase their abilities and learn from engaging challenges.

Performance Panorama comprised three engaging levels, each designed to push participants beyond their comfort zones and foster skill development in a competitive yet supportive environment.

Levels:

1.         Mind the Pipe: Teams demonstrated impeccable time management, seamless teamwork, and effective leadership as they guided basketballs through pipes to paper cups at the finish line within a strict time limit.

2.         Blindfolded Ball Clash Challenge: Communication, coordination, and strategy were put to the test as blindfolded teams navigated a course, passing a ball through checkpoints while overcoming obstacles and avoiding clashes with opposing teams.

3.         Ultimate Treasure Hunt Challenge: A race against time and wit, where teams deciphered clues to uncover hidden treasures within a designated area.

The judging panel comprised Prof. Ashutosh Sharma and Prof. Neha Shrotriya. Teams were evaluated on coordination, creativity, active listening, and time management.

Dr. Timira Shukla, Director along with PGDM Chairperson Dr. Anusha Agarwal, Club Coordinator Dr. Richa N Agarwal, and the esteemed judges, presented appreciation certificates and trophies to the winners. Certificates of participation were distributed to all participating teams.

The Overall Winning Team accolade was secured by:

·         Second: Fantastic Four

·         Third: Happiness Ambassador
